. it's usually slow. >> it's usually slow in this area. let's go to steve. >>> a very good morning. i guess we had to turn the page from september to october to put sunshine on the coast and there's not even a puff of a breeze. first time san francisco hit 90. that was our high ned. since september 25th -- yesterday. since september 25th, 2010. normal is 75. they are the sitting at 65 right now. san santa cruz -- santa cruz was 100 and watsonville was 101. if the sea breeze does not kick in. they will be close to that today. inland temperatures you will have 20 pate -- you will have to wait until tomorrow. definitely not a breeze yet. some temperatures on the coast have been going up in the last couple of hours. fort funston being one. lake merced from 64 to 67. san francisco, 65. hayward, 65. santa rosa is 51. those are warmer than livermore, antioch and san jose. a complete reversal. san jose, travis, snow. there's no sea breeze yet. the leading edge is being drawn towards us. the combination of the two will eventually turn that breeze around to the west. by tomorrow -- by tomorrow.

. let's go to steve. >>> happy friday. beautiful sunrise if you don't have the low clouds. if you have the low clouds, there is gray. up above the higher clouds coming in, ever reporting station says cloudy. kinds of a cool pattern with temperatures in the 40s and 50s to start. some of the most inland locations, stockton liver moor, collie lake, in the 80s or 70s yesterday. all 70s today. 77 you chiia. 74 livermore and stockton, 82 to 78 degrees. any event you are attending, it's going to be a partly sunny, partly cloudy patent, cool and low 60s. i don't see much change as we go in to week. 40s to 60s. marked for identification 40s to the north. -- the westerly breeze, sea breeze components still. there it's not as strong as yesterday. big strong dome of high pressure building towards the gulf of alaska. the key is the low there, that's bringing in the higher clouds and now it doesn't have moisture to work with it but moving towards us, not only today but probably all the way in to sunday and monday. that will keep the cooling trend in place. 60s and 70s. occasionally breezy to windy,

and 101 still looks good on the peninsular so far. let's go to steve. >>> well, waiting for that west wind for some. santa cruz harbor, a little bit in san francisco, still most locations have a little bit of a hint of an east breeze. temperatures are always the toughest challenges on the forecasted highs. cooler by the coast, as long as the breeze marches in as advertised it will still be warm to hot in san francisco document 5 from yesterday which is still warm in antioch. san jose 55 and 56 napa, 75 in travis. most locations are calm, a little southwest at santa rosa and there is assure sign that will cool off. this low is being drawn up by a cold system in the northern plains but as it draws closer to us, it will usher in fog. very shallow for some. everybody will cool down a lot. 60s and 70s and 80s closer to it and this afternoon we will have a howling sea breeze and we will have a big cool down as we go into the weekend. >>> shoppers are standing by shifting the selection of toys and that will help boost holiday sales. target will feature 20 toys at the front of its aisles. shoppers

is on the tracks before service can resume to normal. they are calling it major delays for bart. let's go to steve. >>> skies are clear, very calm, that is not the case now. fog has roared back in temperatures took a big nose dive coast and bay and inland temperatures will follow suit. they are making a strong push and when you get sea breeze gusting up to 30 miles per hour, you will go 33 and the city did hit 34 and that was a very challenging forecast. we will go 79 today and san jose is 89 to 76 today. it will be a good 15 to 20- degree drop. reason being, it was shallow, solid fog bank, it is making a big push inland. 57 to 60 degrees and that's coast and bay. west turbo charge, that is what we look for and it was flat, nothing. we picked up the system with high pressure way up here and that is going to stay here probably all over us and too much fog and it will bring temperatures down. it is cooler even out of those 100s a couple of 80s, 76 walnut creek, low 80s brentwood, livermore 71 degrees. 76 san jose, 76 los gatos, 50s 60s and 70s coast and bay, we'll see the fog get chewed up and it lo
